This is how the DISKLOK works.

DISKLOK offers full protection for both steering wheel and airbag. DISKLOK cannot be cut out of the steering wheel, like most other products on the market. Your DISKLOK is ideally positioned if it can be turned on the steering ?heel easily. ? tight fit is not intended, as this could allow thieves to use your DISKLOK as a “spare steering wheel” and control the vehicle. But even if your DISKLOK does not fit lightly onto your steering ?heel, it will still offer the highest level of visual deterrence, effectively prevent theft of the airbag, and reliably prevent vandalism, more so than any other steering wheel lock in the world that we have tested.

Aligning the discs.

In normal use (key is completely inserted into the lock) the key can be turned 3/4 of the way around in the lock. Only then can the lock be opened. The safety cylinder of DISKLOK is a “multi-disc lock”. Many successive layers have to be aligned with the key in such a way that it fits completely into the lock. It may happen that individual discs twist and interlock. This is no cause for concern. The discs can easily be re-aligned.
